Manuscript Preparation Guidelines

Authors must prepare and submit manuscripts in accordance with the journal’s formatting and ethical standards. Submissions are handled through the online system, which guides authors throughout the process.

Title Page

The title page must be submitted separately and include author names, affiliations, corresponding author details, and disclosures. To ensure double-blind review, no identifying information should appear in the main manuscript.

Main Manuscript

Manuscripts should follow a structured format including Abstract, Keywords, Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, and References.

References

  • References must be numbered in order of citation
  • Use standard medical citation styles (e.g., AMA)
  • Only published or accepted works should be cited
  • Avoid citing non-indexed or inaccessible sources

Original Research Articles

  • Structured abstract (Objective, Methods, Results, Conclusion)
  • 3–6 keywords (MeSH terms recommended)
  • Maximum length: ~5000 words
  • Up to 50 references

Review Articles

  • Unstructured abstract
  • Comprehensive analysis of current knowledge
  • Maximum length: ~5000 words

Case Reports

  • Focus on rare or educational cases
  • Maximum length: ~700 words
  • Limited references and figures

Letters to the Editor

  • Short commentary on published work
  • Maximum length: ~500 words
  • No abstract required

Tables, Figures & Images

  • Numbered in order of appearance
  • Minimum resolution: 300 dpi
  • Must not include identifying information
  • Tables should be editable (not images)

Important Notes

  • Ensure double-blind review compliance
  • Use generic names for drugs
  • Obtain permissions for copyrighted materials
  • Ensure clarity and originality of all content
