To support the costs of editorial processing, peer review, production, and online hosting, the Journal of Research in Health Sciences applies an Article Processing Charge (APC) for accepted manuscripts. All fees are transparently outlined below.
Manuscript Submission
There is no submission fee for authors. Manuscripts can be submitted and reviewed free of charge. APC is applicable only after acceptance.
Publication Fee (APC)
$220 USD
A flat publication fee is charged for all accepted articles. This covers editorial evaluation, peer review coordination, DOI assignment, typesetting, online publication, and indexing support.
What the APC Covers
- Editorial screening and peer-review management
- Professional copyediting and formatting
- DOI registration and metadata indexing
- Online hosting and archiving
- Open access availability
Open Access Policy
All articles are published under an open access model, allowing readers to freely access, download, and share content. Authors retain copyright of their work while granting the journal the right to publish and distribute it.
Waivers and Discounts
The journal is committed to supporting researchers from diverse backgrounds. Partial waivers may be granted in the following cases:
- Authors from low-income or developing countries
- Early-career researchers with limited funding
- Special editorial invitations or collaborations
Requests for waivers must be submitted at the time of manuscript submission and will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
Payment Process
APC payment is requested only after the manuscript has been formally accepted. Authors will receive payment instructions via email. Accepted payment methods include secure online transactions.
Payment of APC does not influence editorial decisions. All manuscripts undergo independent peer review based on academic merit and ethical standards.
